The Season for Wedding Pictures

A day trip with friends took us to a lake on the outskirts of Shanghai.  While walking around the lake, we saw at least five couples taking wedding pictures.  It was a sunny day, but I'm still glad I wasn't the one wearing the sleeveless wedding dress.  It must have been a bit chilly. 

I asked my Chinese friend why the women wouldn't wait for warmer spring weather to take these pictures.  She laughed and said maybe their stomachs would be poking out with a baby by then.  Maybe she was joking, but in some cases, it could be true.
