Christmas Eve Bride

These are the flowers which Nikonabike gave me this morning (just before I toddled off to work for the last time this year.)
We were married 33 years ago today, on Christmas Eve.
I tell people that it was because I had the day off work on Christmas Eve that year, so if it didn't work out I hadn't wasted a day out of my holiday allowance.
The real reason? I loved him to bits, and 33 years later it just gets better and better.
