Today's surprise

The wonderful piece above was carried through the door this morning, because of the weight and steps two of them had to carry it in. When last seen I remember it as a tatty lump of oak.

Our lovley Neighbour has many skills one of which is wood turning, John was in on the secret and delighted with the end result. It (think we need to name this) has sat in the kitchen today but will need a cool place in the house to acclimatise for a few weeks. And we can plan where to place it.

I was stunned into silence and then little shrieks, and he managed to run off before the big hug. Ha will get him tomorrow!
