Cygnet.

Today so far has been one of those days when nothing goes to plan! We were meant to be going out for lunch with Brian's Mum - her treat. But we got there to find that she had water coming through her kitchen ceiling from the flat above, and couldn't go out until a repair man had been. So we fetched KFC for us all and had lunch at her flat instead! When the repair man came he said he couldn't do anything as the man from upstairs was out and he needed access to his flat. 

Whilst there I nipped out to the river behind the flats  and took some shots of cygnets swimming on there.

Then it was time to make the Nougat Cheesecake for tomorrow's dessert. That didn't go to plan either as I didn't realise how short a time dissolved gelatin takes to cool. I gave it too long and it set before I added it to the mix! fortunately the second branch of Tesco's we went to still had more gelatin on the shelf! It's done now and chilling nicely in the fridge!

I soon shall be chilling nicely with a drink in my hand!
