Hidden Sunset

After a hectic morning trying to get my deliveries done whilst battling with last minute shoppers and - to begin with - swathes of heavy drizzle, I needed to get away from it all for an hour or two ...
So after finishing work and getting home just after lunchtime, I took a relaxing shower, grabbed a quick bite to eat, dozed off in my chair for half an hour, then got into my van and went for a drive to the other end of Guernsey ...
My thoughts were to capture a Christmas Eve sunset ... but that wasn't really to be ...
It wasn't the sun's fault of course ... It did it's best to push through the extensive cloud cover ... And to be honest, it managed a better job than it had done at sunrise ... :o)
