christmas eve

christmas eve.  the family is together.  the kids are cooking.  steak au poivre, roasted red potatoes, grilled asparagus.  my husband is trying to keep up with the dishes and i am behind the camera.  there is much festivity and laughter.  never one to see the broad shot, my eye is drawn to the simple task of cutting a lemon for ice water.
