Christmas towel

A towel can come in handy at this time of year and not only if you are an interstellar hitchhiker, to quote Douglas Adams* "...You can wrap it around you for warmth as you bound across the cold moons of Jaglan Beta; you can lie on it on the brilliant marble-sanded beaches of Santraginus V, inhaling the heady sea vapours." Not only that, you can "...wrap it round your head to ward off noxious fumes or avoid the gaze of the Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal"

In this instance I'm using it to ward off the noxious fumes of Brussels sprouts which permeate the house at this time of year. Of course I can still dry myself off with it if it still seems to be clean enough after all that.

A happy Christmas to all our readers.
