Lifeboat
One of our lifeboats, we have 4 total (two forward and two aft). Hanging in it's davit ready to go, the boats would be loaded up with passengers (70 each boat) in an emergency and then lowered away by pulling on a release wire.
Once in the water the securing hooks are release from inside the boat and away you go.
Proper name is TEMPSC (Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Craft) and they are designed to keep out gas and fumes once the doors and windows are sealed. There is also a water spray outside to keep the boat cool incase of fire.
The other smaller boat is our FRC (Fast Rescue Craft) used for rescue if anybody falls overboard and into the water.
