Accrington Market Hall. Royal Visit.

There was an air of excitement in Accrington this morning as the crowds waited for the arrival of the Queen and Royal visitors, who were due at 3pm after their visit to Burnley.
The weather was sunny and cold with showers at times but it did not deter the high spirits of the crowd.
There was a marvellous Scottish Pipe Band and colourful characters dressed up like Sponge Bob to entertain the children.
It was a very memorable occasion.
