Bethesda'r Fro Chapel, St. Athan

This lovely little chapel dates from 1807 and has only recently had electricity installed.  The chapel is reputedly haunted and phantom funerals have been reported in the area with witnesses hearing funeral music and seeing a procession. One elderly farmer even recognised several deceased mourners in one of the processions which had halted outside a local house and then just disappeared!
