After the big unwrap
A dry, cloudy morning, probably cold.
We had a great time unwrapping our presents with our daughter and her family. Their tradition is for each person to unwrap a present while everyone watches and then it is the next persons turn. It takes longer but it is a nice way to share in everyone's surprises.
Last night we attended our daughter's church for their midnight service. It was a thoughtful way to enter Christmas Day.
Much earlier this morning we Skyped our son and his family in New Zealand. There is a 13 hour time difference so there is a limited time slot when we are all awake.
Shortly after all the photo was taken it was very efficiently tidied away and we now await our Christmas Dinner!
