Movie Screen

This is the back of an enormous "movie screen" erected for 3 days on one of the pedestrian only streets in Oaxaca. Folding chairs were set up, and movies such as the Nutcracker were shown several times per day. 
The interesting thing is that no projector was involved, but rather the images were delivered to the black screen via these wires and connections on the reverse side. I'm sure some of you have seen something like this, but we never had. 
Mexico is such a land of contrasts - certain things of life are quite high tech, while others are definitely not - such as not being able to drink the water.
