Sunshine on the river Yealm

As we are on our own today, we decided to go for a drive to the South Hams area. I had been wanting to visit Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers for a while so we packed a picnic, left the rain behind and went for a delightful walk around the 2 villages which nestle either side of the Yealm estuary. There was quite a gathering of locals enjoying their pint outside the local pub in the sunshine. I am sure it looks a lot prettier when the tide is up.
