Christmas Day Swim

All the best doggies go for a Christmas day swim. 

I’ve had a lovely splish, splosh, splash in Staunton Harold Reservoir.  Alfie, the bearded collie, was a bit wussy and only did paddling. For some reason he never goes into water deeper than his paws??  He’s very super speedy though.  We went on a two hour walk and he was zooming around all over the place.  At my age I prefer to take things at a more leisurely pace?!

Now we’re home and waiting for our Christmas dinner……………….  But Jack, Ann’s nephew, isn’t back from work yet.  He’s washing up in the local pub!

Ann says she can’t wait any longer so is drinking wine. 

I’ve had some amazing pressies today.  Two new collar & lead sets, a squeaky bird, 9 (yes 9) new bouncy balls and a Christmas stocking filled with treats.  I’m such a lucky little collie dog.

We’re all a bit tired now.

Time for the humans to open the Prosecco, more pressie opening, Christmas dinner, ‘Downton’, bed!!!!!
