Christmas Traditions

The thought of presents will lure any teenager out of their pit at a reasonable hour. I can well remember the getting up at 4 am and 5 am only to try and get the boys to have a little bit more sleep but finally giving in at 6 am and getting up. Nowadays we are getting them up! 

Stockings were opened on our bed. Our furry friend was missed, she always loved present opening. We had a lovely family breakfast which I treasured just the 4 of us, chatting and eating. 

Once all the presents were opened I dragged Mr PB out for a quick walk before I started the dinner. It was the most beautiful day and we could have a brisk walk to the bird sanctuary.  Mr PB took this just to follow the traditional family walk picture on the this day.

Home, my Mum arrived, Champaign  followed by a delicious dinner (so they all told me! - still little sense of taste or smell) , then time to chill and enjoy the rest of Christmas.
