Christmas Dinner

A frosty morning and white on the hills but been a fine calm day with a few brief showers. 

Up fairly early and off up to my sister Julie's house.  The lasses had already opened their Santie sacks but we had all the presents to open.  A lovely Christmas dinner with her family, her husband Ingram's parents and mam and dad.  I've stuffed myself as usual! The evening has been very relaxed, and plenty of folk out and about visiting.  A few drams tonight and getting into the festive spirit :)

Julie's meal was made from a lot of their own home grown veg.  The peelings from home grown Brussel sprouts and others don't get dumped, they make a fine Christmas dinner for their sheep and chickens, we can't forget about them at this time of year :)  Taken at Haroldswick, Unst.
