Always the Sea

Merry Christmas

All the girls home, plus my dad and I's mother. Lots of champagne for breakfast. Small made butternut squash velouté for starters, then we had an absolutely superb fore rib - we don't do turkey, it's gross - with my brilliant Yorkshire puds. They don't usually let me cook and were very sceptical but they porked down the lot. We were so stuffed that we never got round to pudding, again. Back to the larder yet again for the four year old Christmas pud.
