Christmas Day dawns

A wonderful relaxing day .... the first time in over 30 years that we haven't been at home for Christmas. 

Presents were opened in front of a log fire and Jason cooked a lovely Christmas meal while Jane (who had already made a delicious and beautifully decorated cake) took charge of drinks. 

No photo or technology gifts for any of us this year (except books) but having found out how Jason showed us their holiday photos on the television I've already ordered the essential item - an Apple TV.
