Boxing Day

Had to brave the sales today because the outdoor brolly stand rusted away finally.  To be fair, it wasn't too crazy so we were in and out pretty quickly. Managed a bike ride in the sun - a pleasant change being able to wear just one layer of clothes.  Came home in time to prepare the ham for our dinner in the evening sun.  The best thing about doing a ham on the BBQ is being able to sit close by with beer in hand, ready for the necessary basting. Lovely flavours on this one - palm sugar, ginger juice, lime juice, lime leaves, chilli flakes and five spice powder...divine.
