View from the tower 2

Thanks to Revmartin for his suggestion yesterday - here is the view from the East fo the tower. Church of England churches usually face east - to the rising sun.

St Saviour's church is in the countryside so here is a view of the fields. No sign of the sea in this direction.

Mark took this picture (he took yesterday's and wrote the blurb) but I am writing the blurb. He and Sophie went up the tower after tea. They waited until the bells had chimed but Sophie says they were still vibrating when the went through the bell chamber.

Lovely end to a lovely day. Had friends over for a play and then tea. It was camping games in the garden in the sunshine. Now I am off to read to Sophie and Jonathan is going for a soak in the bath. I love my family!
