At least it keeps them busy.

As you enter Rheged there's a patch of light on the floor. Last time it looked like a mass of balloons, until you interrupted the beam(s): then they'd move around as though kicked.
Today it was Reindeer and things festive.
I'm never sure if the kids catch on or need to be told, but quite often they can be seen pouncing on whatever is currently moving around the floor.
