Prepare for take off

After breakfast we opened our presents. After visiting Denmark this summer and playing with nephew's Lego this December it was no surprise that my better half got me some Lego for xmas. It's a sensible sized box of Lego Technic - though I'd call it junior technical as it's not actually that technical and pretty much no difference from their Creator range in many respects. Anyhow I made the helicopter then dismantled and made the second helicopter you see blipped here.

It was nice and sunny so we then went for a bike ride, hoping that the roads would be empty - they were not - indeed there were too many idiots out and about.

After the bike ride we made dinner and then started our second 1000 piece jigsaw, another hard one mostly because there was nothing on TV all day. The last first jigsaw is complete, though we are missing a piece - which is a shame - and also annoying as it arrived boxed new, so it must be in the house somewhere...
