"You made the wine, now you drink the cup"

I entered my recipe for French Onion soup into a competition a few months back and I came runner-up. To celebrate this Cono Sur Wines who ran the competition invited me along to a three course lunch in a lovely Dublin hotel held by the head winemaker of the company. Each course was paired with a selected wine and then we were the first to try a new wine just launched by the company. Of course all this was wasted on me as I don't drink and I had to rush off to give a presentation in college. However, it was a lovely day and the food was delicious and it was very nice to be rewarded for our efforts in entering the competition.
