It's snowing!!!!!

It started about an hour ago, as predicted, but it's definitely heavier than the good ol weathermen said, AND it's sticking!!

I took this hanging out the study window overlooking our garden, just as we got home this evening having spent a lovely afternoon at our daughters meeting her other halfs family for the first time, which was nice. Daughter and partner jet off to Egypt in the morning for a week, so they will bring in their new year over there, it will definitely be warmer there than here ;-)

Hope it doesn't really freeze tonight.......it's already 0 degrees, as we are off into Manchester tomorrow for an afternoon concert at the Bridgwater Hall!

This is one of hubs presents, it's Songs from the Musicals, which we always enjoy, so should be good! Youngest son and his wife are off to my sis's tomorrow, so are stoping off to pick us up and drop us off en route. We will catch a train back later, will save us driving as I'm sure the car parks will all be chocca a tomorrow!!!
