Start in Three Seconds or Else...............

After a leisurely morning I ventured outside to turn my car round so that it would be facing the right way round if the threatened snow materialised. Ignition on, lights on, radio on ...click.....click...click. 

Tried the jump leads - to no avail; followed by a few squirts of WD40. I even threatened the old Basil Fawlty trick of "start in three seconds or I beat you with a tree". That didn't work either.

So at 4 o'clock on a sleety Boxing Day afternoon I called out the breakdown company. The guy was here within 40 minutes and had my car started - almost within the three second deadline!

Here is a blip of what Santa brought me yesterday. A new Canon EOS 100D with 18-55 and 75-300 mm lenses; a "selfie stick" which has standard tripod mountings; and a bluetooth shutter control for my iPad and phone.
