Horsdean Lichens

Horsdean is not only one of my favourite walking spots in Brighton, it's also one of the few places in the city that has a half-decent range of lichens - surprisingly, since it's right next to the bypass and the constant traffic can't be doing the air quality any good. Lichens are eternally fascinating - several species here just within a few centimetres.
