This...after a grey day!

A lovely quiet day here.....made a delicious curried squash soup - all the winter squash we harvested in the fall are starting to go moldy...can't seem to find the right temp and environment to keep them for any length of time....so i used up 3 large ones, which gave me enough squash after cutting away all the bits that were no good!   it was indeed a lovely soup!

It's been grey and a bit uninviting out there, but we decided we needed a walk...and just as we stepped out the door this happened!  

After 2 or more days of over indulgence food wise, i'm on a bit of a food strike....soup, that's all!
