Boxing Day at the Bandstand

We've had a different but lovely Boxing Day. We old usually spend the day with my parents but we are having that day on Sunday instead.

So we started off this morning by enjoying the dry part of the day with a walk along the seafront to the very busy Bandstand where a group were performing.

This afternoon Brighton had their first ever Boxing Day fixture at The Amex. Because my usual footie pal couldn't go I took Pete with me for the first time this season and I think he wished he hadn't bothered after 30 minutes. However, having conceded two poor early goals, we started to come back into the game and scored just before half time.

After the break, we were a different team and I witnessed the best 45 minutes of football I had seen all season. We managed to equalise and were unfortunate not to come away with all 3 points,

Hopefully they will appoint a new manager soon and then the future may look brighter.
