Boxing Day madness

I had to go into Dumfries this morning to take Joe home and for the Free Meals Project. I couldn't believe how many people were in town, I thought they would have had enough of shopping. There were long queues in some shops (GAME) as well. 
This poem was on the wall outside The Stove arts centre. I've no idea what it's about.
