Boxing Day football

First time I've been to a football match on Boxing Day, and where better than Old Trafford (with Miss K)? Quality entertainment for 50 minutes until United were 3-0 including two good goals from Rooney and van Persie, with Newcastle not really up for it. After that neither side seemed interested in playing in heavy sleet. Then it was our turn to endure the weather on the way back into Manchester to rejoin Mme A and Miss L who had been making the most of the sales in the Arndale Centre.
