The send off

Today our Special Education students were given a whole school send off as they prepared to travel to Liege for the Special Olympics. It was quite an emotional event as the entire population of students, ranging from two and a half year olds to 18 year olds, and teachers formed a tunnel for the athletes and coaches to walk through before a presentation was given.

It's so easy and natural to get caught up in your own life and whinge about work etc, but today was one of those days when I remembered how fortunate I am to be part of such a strong, supportive and inspirational community. We wish the team loads of luck over the next few days.
