Boxing Day Sunset...

We are looking for a winter storm to move in overnight but tonight all was calm...
If my mood seemed a little off yesterday... I made the mistake of watching a slideshow of my husband's grandparent's farm, 'Valhalla', that I photographed this summer both digital and with my medium format Yashica D (from the early 1950's), be bulldozed and burned to the ground as a new family has taken it over and will build a life there. Talk about closure, it was chilling but in time I think we will feel that it was the right path to take. I just wish that I had been there to take the final images, somehow it would have felt more respectful...
