winter pond

This little pond is right off the road but usually hidden by the trees and typically the surrounding area is pretty wet, so I have not ventured  off the road before. But today , in spite of all the recent rain , it was fairly dry and I could not pass up the reflections. The sun was out for the first time in 2 and a half weeks (welcome to New York) and the walk was needed.
