Native Mosquito

A small 3cm native striped mosquito (Culex rotoruae) is found only around Rotorua. lands on our begonia flower petal to sip the thin film of dew in our garden early this morning. these mosquitos don't feed on blood. They eat only nectar and plant matter around the thermal areas of Rotorua.
