Thrumming awful

Thrummed sock in progress. Progress stalled due to my intense hatred of the Short Row Heel. All the worse this time because of the added complexity and sheer awkwardness of the thrums. Frankly, I only pointed a camera at it to get a break from the knitting.

Not so much a sock as a Trial by Ordeal. Wow, I must love Mr L a great deal to be knitting this beast for him. Oh, yes.

I'd far rather be playing with the sumptuous new yarn that arrived today.
