No snow

I woke up early -about 6.30, to hear on the news that Doncaster Airport was closed because of snow, and that much of eastern England had snow too and road conditions were poor.  I rushed to the window and looked out to see no snow at all. Even at 3 in the afternoon there was no snow here and some sunshine( see the light on the tree trunk) .My friends from Doncaster phoned to say they has been stuck in the snow and had to abandon their car and wouldn't be able to visit tomorrow. Another date has been arranged.
