Why we live here.

Both families have gone back to their own lives. Just two of us now, the sound of joy and laughter has been replaced by the gentle hum of the washing machine restoring sheets and pillowcases.

Mrs.k is in recovery mode after cooking for seven days.

Such a gorgeous day hear that Knottman could not resist a walk up to the top of Arnside Knott. Many landscapes to choose from but this, almost the classic view, won out.
The limestone hill is Whitbarrow, a wonderful place for wildlife of all kinds. The yellow patches are the raised peat bogs and mosses which have been restored in recent years. They have Ospreys and a wonderful array of uncommon dragonflies, butterflies and beetles.
We are overjoyed to spend our remaining years in this wonderland.
