Montrose to Edinburgh on East Coast's Festive Sardine Service. 

Seat reservations cancelled due to an 'IT problem' forcing passengers joining the service in Dundee & Leuchars to sit in the aisle & squeeze into the vestibule areas. 

I just wonder at what point that is the operator stops accepting more passengers - "Elf & Safety" - heaven forbid there had been an 'incident' onboard.    

Alighting at Waverley it was a fight to get past the next set of passengers desperate to get onboard and away, and past the Transport Police who had been called onboard - suspect a seat reservation spat.

Having seen images on Twitter I'm just glad I'm not going onto King's Cross Finsbury Park!
