Winter Garden

Despite being cold and miserable outside, we have had the heater on in the summer house and have been enjoying a relaxing afternoon out in the garden.  This is exactly why we have spent the money on the garden project and I can see myself spending an awful lot of time out here in the coming months, especially as I have extended our wifi network out here.

As it gets warmer, we will have the benefit of the new blinds on the windows, which are needed to stop it getting too hot in the summer house, which happens on any sunny day because of its south facing aspect.  The blinds were fitted during the week before Christmas and two of them for the end windows were not put into the van so still need to be fitted.  One of the brackets for a door fixing was also missing so that too awaits fitting.  It was a bit hopeful to get them to resolve that before Christmas as they are fully booked already for the first couple of weeks of January.
