Lazy ponies

If only they were - grazing, that is! To be fair, they have done a lot of good work at the nature reserve, but they've eaten all the sweet vegetation and are not keen on some very coarse grass, Calamagrostis epigejos, that is spreading rather successfully and we would like them to tackle. They really don't seem keen and as it's suddenly turned very cold I was giving them a bit of hay this afternoon - just enough to keep their strength up...so they can just try some of the Calamagrostis tomorrow! Please?
