Let's go for a walk
Ok, how about Alton Water, not been there for a while
Yup, sounds good

Eight miles later and we have walked right around the edge of the resevouir. We haven't had any snow but lots of rain and in parts the path was quite muddy. The wind blew with an icy chill as well. Not many others there, only one sail boat on the water, and a couple of dog walkers. We did see a couple of herons, assorted ducks and geese.

A well deserved cup of hot chocolate before heading back home and stoking the log burner.
