Tindaya

The mountain in the back ground was considered sacred and there was a hermitage on its slopes. This attractive church is on the edge of the village, overlooking the plain between it and the mountain. There aren't many trees on Fuerteventura away from the towns and villages, which usually have a few palm and fig trees.
