Travelling Back

Journey back home today, and we got progressively more annoyed as the trip went on and we kept hitting traffic.  200 miles took (with a few stops) a  little over seven hours.  Ouch.

1. Kemble Airfield, where they dismantle planes.
2.  The Fosse Way - an obvious Roman Road that runs straight for miles.
3. We ran into a hunt, which was causing chaos with the traffic.
4. Fossebridge - steep down and back up again.
5. More Fosse Way - we liked the trees arching over the road.
6. We hit evidence of snowfall around Sheffield.
7. Traffic!
8. The gritters were out in force.
9. 40? No chance!
