Serving God and serving others

Our church has an active outreach ministry through which we try to be, as the expression says, the "hands and feet of Christ" in the world. Preparing and serving a special meal on Christmas Day is one way to do that. Some of the guests are homeless, while others come because they live alone and enjoy having company around the table on Christmas Day. The birth of a baby in a stable in Bethlehem over 2000 years ago was an expression  of the love of God for all people. Serving this dinner on Christmas Day is a way to spread that love.
