DOES IT LOOK LIKE RAIN ?

I don't think so ! Last night I was dead heading roses until 9.30 & there were ominous dark clouds lurking on the horizon; we're in for a shower I thought. Wrong. Awoke at 6am to a glorious sunrise, the air crystal clear & the mountains that familiar flamingo pink. Absolutely gorgeous. It's too hot to go out in the middle of the day so I have 2 hours in the morning & 2 at night.

This is my garden view, north looking, over lovely Lake Wanaka, as I carried water to a few of my ailing rhododendrons. Boys with their toys, me with my buckets. A fantastic day, they don't come any better than this.
