Last Train of the Year

Whilst there seemed to be much rail chaos in England at least the trains on the Island were running to time.

The Steam Railway ran 'Mince Pie Specials ' on Boxing Day and today with the last service of the year here leaving Havenstreet Station.

There will be one more day of running on  New Years Day before closing down for the Winter break which gives time for important maintenance work to be completed before the new season.
