Silver and Gold

The view from the back garden looked so good this morning. There had been another fall of snow overnight, but the sun, when it rose, was a rosy gold. Walked up here later and it was lethal underfoot, sheets of ice covered by several inches of soft snow. However, the light was glorious and there were lots of birds.
