Moomin in a hurry

Amongst the presents that B and D brought us when they came over for dinner last Tuesday was this set of Moomin angel chimes. I particularly like the figure of Moomin in a hurry.

I have spent most of today in the kitchen. I baked some scones this morning for my friend V and her daughter Tz. They came over for coffee mid-morning and stayed for a couple of hours. This afternoon I have been preparing for the arrival of our next set of guests on Tuesday. Currently there is a boeuf bourgignon bubbling in the oven.

Mr hazelh is out with his 'twin' S , nadinepierce, and gbees at the cinema to see The Hobbit. It would be a complete waste of time and money for me to sit through the film - this kind of thing is not my cup of tea at all - so I am delaying joining the others until supper time. I'm going to walk across town to meet them all for a curry. I am looking forward to some exercise after several days of lazing around like a lump. I'll mainly follow the route of my regular walk to work.
