Hair ice? Frost flower?

Which/whatever it is, it's very pretty. I read on t'internet that in Denmark it is known as being tufts of elves beards caught in bits of tree. It melts as soon as you touch it because humans aren't magic like elves.

We had a fabulous walk in the Penicuik Estate with friends, who also have 2 boys of similar age to ur two. They exercised each other very well, and had a fab time. The sky was blue, the sun was out, the frost had frozen most of the muddy puddles - it was a really lovely day.
The rest of the day has been lazy and relaxing at home. D and I have started reading his box set of 20 Star Wars stories....
