last day

Met up with Sam and Lorna at lunchtime.  We always have a good laugh (and cry!) when we get together.  Got a bottle of prosecco and a lovely card signed by loads of people in work.  So kind!

Surprised Danny after work.  He had texted to ask if I were back (he's always up seeing his family at Christmas time).  I said I was back for 6 weeks but I was heading off in the morning!!  Such a shame....but he mentioned he was in Dirty Dick's pub on Rose Street and I decided to pop by :)  Brilliant.  Had a drink with him, his brother, and a friend of theirs.  Great to squeeze him in :)

Tash and Ryan were at the flat when I got back.  Ryan was doing decorating and Tash was making dinner.  Lovely to have them there as I cleaned and sorted and packed.  We ate dinner together and said our goodbyes.  I couldn't have done this trip had it not been for them lending me their flat.  I appreciated it so much during this 6-week stint.  Off to France tomorrow!!
